After 3 months of daily usage of the FermeCare system

Hyperpigmentation is one of the most common skin problems affecting patients today — all who are looking for a safe, effective way to brighten and even their skin while preventing future damage.

Now, after years of development and clinical studies, Shantel has received a groundbreaking patent (US Patent #9,770,480) with additional patents pending for fermenting polyphenols for use in skin care that can finally bring relief to patients suffering from the condition.

The Missing Piece in the Polyphenol Puzzle

FermeCare is the first and only patented skin care system that uses fermented polyphenols to deliver enhanced antioxidants to skin to overcome the damage caused by UV radiation and other environmental stressors. FermeCare is formulated to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and aging to restore a healthy, even skin tone and a more youthful complexion.

Polyphenols are a rich source of antioxidants, able to help your patient’s skin combat free radicals, reverse the visible signs of damage and irritation they cause, and restore a glowing complexion.

However, in order to get the most from those polyphenols, there’s one more thing your patient needs…

Enzymes.

Enzymes break the polyphenols down into their most bioavailable form, concentrate them so that they’re stronger and more effective, and purify them so that they can do their work without irritating the skin.

Unfortunately, that’s where the problem comes in...

Your patient’s skin can’t produce enzymes…. A problem that reduces the effectiveness of standard polyphenol topicals, while increasing their risk of toxicity and irritation.

Enzyme Action Via Fermentation

With FermeCare, that’s no longer an issue.

Through our patented fermentation process, we make up for the enzymes your patient’s skin lacks.

As the polyphenols in FermeCare are fermented,

the enzymes we use in the process do the work for your patient’s skin. They enhance the polyphenols, giving them greater anti-oxidant strength and improving their bioavailability.

This allows them to penetrate deeply into your patient’s skin, without irritation and to work more effectively against the negative effects of UV radiation and environmental stress. And, With regular use of FermeCare, your patients will see a substantial reduction in the appearance of hyperpigmentation, as well as strong improvements in skin lifting and texture.

This fosters a brighter, healthier, more even complexion that can boost confidence in their appearance.

The Challenge of Environmental-Induced Stress Damage to Skin

UV radiation is the most common and highest source of stress to your patient’s skin – leading to damage in the form of the Radical Oxygen Species (ROS)1.

This ROS damage actually blocks its ability to repair itself, allowing the damage to accumulate and wreaking havoc on once healthy skin.  And, when environmental stress compounds the problem, skin looks older and becomes more dull, dry and even rough.

Fortunately, it’s well known that antioxidants can block this process, restoring skin to health, reversing damage and hyperpigmentation, smoothing lines and wrinkles, evening skin tone, and promoting lift.

But there is a problem..

Regular antioxidant based topicals don’t provide the enzymes that are needed to ensure they work most effectively, reducing patient compliance and decreasing satisfaction with the process.

A New Generation of Antioxidants Arrives

Among the new generation of antioxidants used in skin care is resveratrol, a naturally-occurring polyphenol found in a wide variety of botanicals that has significantly potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging powers2.

Unfortunately, resveratrol in its basic form is highly prone to oxidization, and can easily lose its antioxidant strength during the conventional topical product manufacturing process. This can render other resveratrol products useless when it comes to combating the damage of UV radiation and environmental stress, leaving your patients’ skin irritated, red, and prematurely aged.

That’s why we apply our patented fermentation technique in our manufacturing process to ensure the resveratrol in FermeCare can deliver its full antioxidant strength to restore your patients’ glowing, youthful skin.

Enhanced Fermentation

The Key To Reducing Environmental Damage to skin

An ancient technique, and perhaps the oldest chemical process known to mankind, fermentation has been used for thousands of years, processing food and medicines to enhance preservation and effectiveness.  The key to FermeCare is a patented process of specialized fermentation, creating resveratrol that is both stronger and more active than conventionally-produced resveratrol.

#1 – Higher Strength and Effectiveness

Fermentation’s greatest value for skin care is that the process can concentrate nutrients in a biological ingredient, producing more amino acids and anti-oxidants as part of the enzymatic process induced by yeast34. A higher concentration of antioxidants and amino acids equals less damage from environmental stress. Dummy Text for now.

#3 – Improved Purification

Fermentation also works as a purification process for antioxidants and other ingredients, using enzymatic conversion to reduce ingredient impurities, resulting in a much more potent active ingredient. This allows the full power of the antioxidants to go to work and reverse free radical damage without the worry that skin-damaging toxins have slipped through.

#2 – Greater Bioavailability

Because the fermentation process can break down larger molecular sizes into smaller ones, this makes the resulting ingredients much more bioavailable and easier to penetrate skin layers. When antioxidants are able to reach the deeper layers of the skin, they can help restore your patients’ skin health and reverse signs of aging.

#4 – Enhanced Activity with Less Irritation

Because human skin doesn’t produce enzymes, fermenting ingredients can make them more symbiotic with skin, able to be better absorbed and more active without corresponding higher irritation when used topically. Patients of all skin types, even those with sensitive skin, are able to enjoy the power of antioxidants and deliver healthy, beautiful skin.

Pre & Post FermeCare

FermeCare’s product performance was initially documented via a clinical study involving the treatment of Actinic Keratosis (AK) lesions using a gel made with the patented FermeCare process. Patients participating in this independent double-blinded study observed a 60 to 100% reduction in AK lesions within 90 days, without corresponding inflammation. Post-trial pathology also revealed skin showed increase thickness and improved texture after trial period application6

Enhanced Resveratrol Plus Potent Ingredients Make an Optimal Solution

The resulting enhanced resveratrol is then combined into a skin care emulsion using our patented manufacturing technique that maintains the highest antioxidant strength. It provides high-performance antioxidant capability against ROS and environmental stresses while helping to reduce the appearance of PIH lesions.

And, that’s not the end to FermeCare’s benefits…
