How often can patients use the FermeCare products?

FermeCare is a daily use system that can be used every day, during daytime and before bedtime. While the Serum is ideal for daytime and the Crème at night, if patients have skin that is particularly dry, the Crème can be used both in daytime and at night.

Can FermeCare be used after treatment of the skin with lasers or energy-based devices?

After treatment with IPLs, PhotoFacial, Ultrasound, Radio-Frequency, or other light-energy based units FermeCare can be applied immediately and can help the post-treatment recovery process significantly. For high-energy lasers such as Erbium, Nd-YAG, Alexandrite, Pulsed-Dye, or Co2 devices, FermeCare should not be used until the skin has properly healed from treatment.

If my patients have sensitive or allergy-prone skin, can they use FermeCare?

Yes, FermeCare was formulated with sensitive skin patients in mind. None of the primary active ingredients in FermeCare carry a risk factor for skin irritation and all the FermeCare products are made without colors, fragrances, or irritants, or paraben-based preservatives. This allows for the maximum number of patients to use FermeCare in their daily routine.

What’s the difference between the Enhanced Resveratrol in FermeCare versus ordinary Resveratrol?

Enhanced Resveratrol is our patented formulation that uses fermentation to further process resveratrol to add to its strength and stability. Most skin care products that list resveratrol as an ingredient are using a simply processed version, often from Japanese Knotweed plants. FermeCare specifically uses only certain vintages of red grapes that are proven high in resveratrol content.

If Enhanced Resveratrol is created from fermented grapes, is there any alcohol in the ingredient?

No. While alcohol is a natural-by product of the fermentation process, all alcohol is removed from the extract during the manufacturing process.

Can I combine FermeCare with other items during the daytime such as makeup or a sunscreen?

Yes, either Serum or Crème can be combined with a SPF-rated lotion including SPF-rated makeup foundations without conflict. For very best results, the use of FermeCare with proper sun care such as sunblocks is recommended.
